Earthquake and Fire Fighting Mock Drill

An Earthquake and Fire Fighting Mock Drill was conducted for MBA Semester IV Disaster Management students at the School of Defence & Strategic Studies, Sri Balaji University, Pune (SBUP). The drill was followed by a detailed briefing conducted by Col Dgamarose. The briefing covered:

•    Causes and impact of earthquakes and fire hazards.
•    Immediate response techniques such as “Drop, Cover, and Hold.”
•    Safe evacuation procedures and assembly point management.
•    Use of fire extinguishers using the PASS technique (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep).
•    Importance of discipline, communication, and teamwork during disasters.
