Dr. Neha has completed her PhD from Centre for International Politics, Organization
Diplomacy and Disarmament (CIPOD) in 2017. Her topic was “First Use and Extended
Deterrence In American Nuclear Strategy: Analysing Nuclear Decision making in France and
Japan.” She has done Post Doctorate from Jamia Millia Islamia with the topic “Constructing
Indirect Use of Nuclear Weapons: Analysing the Case Study of China.” Before joining
department of defense, she was teaching in Department of Defense and Strategic Studies,
Savitri Bai Phule University. She was also teaching in Department of Political Science, Lovely
Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab. She has published various articles in journals,
magazines, websites as well as newspaper. Her area of interest is nuclear strategy, nuclear
safety, nuclear deterrence and international relations. She has authored one book and also
published more than 13 research papers in various journals. She has also written extensively
