MoU With Military Institute Of Technology MILIT Sri Balaji University Pune SBUP

Sri Balaji University, Pune(SBUP), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Military Institute of Technology (MIT), Pune, an Armed Forces training institution under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, on 15th September 2025.

The objective of this MoU is to promote academic and professional interaction between Shri Balaji University, Pune and MIT in mutually beneficial areas of education, training, and research, and to provide a formal framework for collaborative initiatives.

Objectives of the Collaboration

The MoU aims to facilitate cooperation in the following areas:

• Joint Training Programs:
  Training programs focusing on the combined perspectives of science and technology in Armed Forces applications, enhancing complementary skills and operational capabilities.
• Joint Research and Consultancy Projects: Collaboration on research initiatives, consultancy projects, and applied research in defence technology, strategic studies, and related domains.
• Academic and Professional Interaction: Interaction and cross-engagement programs involving faculty, researchers, and professionals from both institutions to share expertise and best practices.
• Cross-Engagement and Knowledge Exchange: Exchange of knowledge, technical expertise, and academic resources to strengthen teaching, research, and innovation capabilities.

 

Significance of the MoU This collaboration establishes a strong platform for academic cooperation, defence-oriented research, and capacity building. It enhances the university’s engagement with national defence institutions and contributes to developing skilled human resources in science, technology, and strategic studies.
